CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation]
США
Добавлен 30 авг 2016
To provide educational and informative content on cloud native computing, which uses an open source software stack to deploy applications as microservices, packaging each part into its own container, and dynamically orchestrating those containers to optimize resource utilization. Educational content on CNCF projects, like Kubernetes and Prometheus, will also be provided.

Building your API platform with Backstage and GraphQL
Fantastic
Is there a link to the demo screencast?
this talk is so underated, loved the presentation && the OG folks
Do you know anything about frontend tracing? Do you know of any implementation with Angular or React?
Is there a no-std rust client for Nats? It looks like Nats could play a role in the higher-end embedded devices. Also in WASM, but I suppose that would be handled by the communication layer in the WASM runtime.
thank you for thsi video
Excellent performance 👏 👏 🎉🎉❤❤May success follow you every step of the way
Out standing presentation. 🎉❤❤🎉
boostrap from both volumeSnapshot and barmanObjectStore is not working for me
Very useful explanation, thank you very much.❤
Nice
This presentation is great until Josh, um, basically, um, starts, essentially, um, talking and not, um, explaining, basically, anything.
Great video! But perhaps one things I don't agree with is to make application aware of kubernetes. Typically you want your apps to be k8s agnostic so you shouldn't have to make app changes for k8s specifically.
At minute 16:45 you show the argocd UI. Where does the "Promotions" feature in the Left menu come from? Installed the exact same ArgoCD version, but I don't have that feature? What do I miss out?
As much as I'd like to know what all of you are talking about cause that's a lot of smarts, suoet awesome, why is my phone's info even coming up on your website?? I don't know how to read or write a code, have never received any financial support from my videos and pictures, and also am not sure why every phone I buy always have like 4 ip addresses already attached. My name is Kasheena, I live in Missouri, and I'm simple, play piano and encourage ppl, money I could care less about but I definitely do not steal or rob ppl. I've been a stay at home mom for years and what ever this is has caused some series problems for me I mean very bad even the life of a child bein taken, but no justice cause that's how it went down, is it possible someone can build all this on cell phones through wifi connections like Bluetooth transfer. Cause before taking such a drastic step wouldn't it have been easier just to talk. I may not be smart but I'm dedicated to helping ppl especially when there being treated wrong, but I hope next time any type of situation like this rises up you guys handle it just as smooth as you did this time
A perfect overview of GPU with Kubernetes today. Thank you, Kevin and Sanjay.
the reasons to migrate to envoy was not that clear in this talk, hope they got more time to elaborate
Thanks
More requirements because the business want to accelerate and release faster.
Wait so are they using vitess or cockroach db? Why is it brought to you by cockroach db if it is vitess?
How does this solve multi tanency? it's seems like just resource isolation. does capcule prevent you from container breakout?
Good article however bit struggled to understand the speaking of other guy who was showing demo!! less clarity in his speaking ! at one point, his statement about creating book info was wrong. other than good concept
Is there any chance that Nats Map will be open-sourced?
Thanks for the great talk ! But Whatever you're proud of buddy (01:56), i feel petty for you to be born there and brainwashed with lies... Palestine to be free 🇵🇸🇵🇸
great
This was great.
How would the auto deployments and rollouts work. We don't always deploy into one cluster. If there are 50 customers and they are all having flux installed, how is to auto deploy a function changes there? We use Helm for our deployments
Great talk
Very beautiful
great talk
A gr8 presentation to understand service mesh products and its internal architectural implementation.
Great info.. thanks!
Interessante ainda mais considerando o fato de ser nativo.
More and more tools, the more convoluted the better
I find it odd that there is a certification for GitOps. Similar to there being a certification for deploying applications. I think GitOps is something every Kubernetes user needs to be able to comprehend. A certification on one hand formalizes the syllabus, but it make it feel more out of reach. It may create a tendency for bloat - because what is a certified GitOps professional going to do with his time?
thanks
Very nice and simple explain
What communities exist around Thanos? I am just getting into metrics & getting my head wrapped around Prometheus/ Thanos / Grafana. I would love to be able to bounce questions off of a human, rather than GPT & 300 open tabs
Gr8 Presentation !! 👍
It's amazing to see Flux evolution. I'm looking for having its APIs moving to GA!
Great talk
"Developers don't have access to Terraform" says who? Why can't developer use Terraform?
From my experience (most) developer don’t want access to / use Terraform. Which I fully understand
She literally explained in the next sentence that they can and how it often looks like + what @neodaplaya said + ensuring standards / conventions across different developer teams
Why are you apologizing for being Israeli and Russian? It is who you are, bear it proudly.
The good part of this tool is the extensible plugin. You can create your own plugin just like Backstage. Very close to Internal Developer Platform concept where developer can build and customize any UI page that they want to present in Headlamp
The command completion is already turn-on by default in the exam ?
Great presentation!
Thank you so much for this .
I've only read and watched the stuff re. Nix and sorry, but it's 100% FUD. Has the speaker even read the Nix articles they link in the slides!? Of those, 3/4 use dockerTools (AFAIK "the ONE WAY to build Docker images in Nix"), which the speaker also links in the slide (the official doc). The 1/4 is Mitchell Hashimoto's article in which he offers a (pretty nice) and "easier" alternative. And he actually lists some downsides to his method WHERE HE EXPLICITLY MENTIONS dockerTools as the idiomatic way to build them "better"! I'm surprised at the audacity to give a talk and joke & badmouth something by quoting stuff that the speaker clearly hasn't even read, let alone understood. I really hope they install Nix (simply curl|sh) and try the examples from the docs mentioned. Nix is definitely not easy, I just begun playing with it and I'm no expert. But IMHO it's quite mind blowing how awesome it is in general, and especially to build OCI images, like the Xe Iaso's talk/post quoted actually said. P.S. I called it out on Twitter as well, but commenting also here for completeness. Hopefully people will read the comments and won't be misguided by the content of the talk!
Bravo Robert!
Super cool talk! Thanks for sharing! And to author of course as well!
